The U.K. government says it will permit telecom giant Huawei a «limited role» in building its new 5G data network, despite U.S. pressure to cut the Chinese company out of development plans.

The NCSC also warns that other countries should not include Huawei in their 5G network plans unless they own «a really robust regulatory system.»

«We’ve never ‘trusted’ Huawei,» the agency says, noting that it formed a special Huawei Cyber Security Evaluation Centre 10 years ago.

The U.S. has said the company could build «backdoor» access that would permit China to spy on anyone from regular citizens to sensitive government agencies. Huawei has denied those allegations. «No law requires any company in China to install mandatory back doors,» founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei said final year.

Last summer, the U.S.

warned some of its closest allies that if Huawei is part of their 5G telecom infrastructure, U.S. agencies might be reluctant to share intelligence.

In explaining the U.K.’s rationale, the NCSC said it weighed every the options – but blamed a «broken» market for limiting its choices for large-scale 5G suppliers to just three companies: Nokia, Ericsson and Huawei. And without naming any specific company, the agency also said Huawei isn’t the only «high risk» vendor analyzed for the 5G review.

In that environment, the best strategy for the U.K. is to not become «nationally dependent» on any one 5G supplier, according to the NCSC.

Children withautism spectrum disorder (ASD)enjoy playing, but they can discover some types of frolic hard.

Along with the six types of frolic above, there is social frolic – the ability to frolic with others.

Social playalso follows developmental stages, but playing with others can be particularly challenging for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

You can assist your kid by noting what stage of social frolic he’s at and by providing opportunities, support and encouragement for him to progress to the next one. The stages are outlined below.

Note that even as children develop through the stages of social frolic, they’re likely to desire to spend time playing by themselves as well as playing alongside others. It’s OK if your kid wants to frolic alone some of the time.

Playing alone (solitary play)
This is when children frolic alone and independently, when they don’t attempt to get shut to other children and don’t pay attention to what others are doing.

For children with ASD, you can urge solitary frolic skills by starting with activities that own a clear goal and ending.

Hold the frolic short to start with, so your kid can finish the activity quickly and feel successful.

Playing alongside (parallel play)
Children at this stage of frolic start to frolic alongside other children, and might use the same or similar toys as those around them.

You can promote frolic in this stage by encouraging your kid with ASD to frolic at an activity − love trains − on her own but alongside other children.

You can urge your kid to imitate the other children’s frolic while she’s playing on her own.

Playing and sharing with others (associative play)
In this stage of frolic, children interact with other children– giving, taking and sharing frolic materials. This generally starts at around three years of age in typically developing children.

You can assist your kid with ASD study skills for associative frolic by encouraging him to swap things while he’s still playing on his own – for example, swapping bikes, trikes or scooters when cycling or scooting with other children.

Playing and cooperating (cooperative play)
Playing cooperatively with others includes playing games with rules, making up rules, and working together on something, love building a cubby home or making a sandcastle.

Cooperative frolic can become fairly complicated and involves communication skills.

Many of the social rules in this stage of frolic can be hard for children with ASD to understand. You can assist your kid by using clear instructions to simplify the rules of games. For example, ‘First you hide somewhere in the home. Then Sam counts to Then Sam comes to discover you. When Sam finds you, it’s your turn to count while Sam hides’.

It can also assist to explain the rules using pictures or Social Stories™.

Making games more visual can also assist – for example, you can mark the person who is ‘it’ with a special hat.
