Tips for Planning Your Party

  2. Shop at restaurant supply stores. You can score some grand deals on colored tableware, bulk food and serving pieces. You can even discover chafing dishes and warmers.
  3. Skip the pricey “graduation themed” décor and go with your school colors — you can reuse any leftover tableware and decorations for future parties.
  4. Don’t forget about clean up!

    Purchase clean up items before the party so you’re not stuck when the guests leave. Grab items love trash bags, paper towels and antibacterial wipes to own on hand.

Feeding a Crowd

My favorite way to feed a crowd is using deli and bakery platters from Giant.

They own so numerous grand options — sandwiches, cookies, cupcakes, produce and even seafood.

You can also grab everything else you need to throw an amazing graduation party at Giant.

  2. Save money on catering by using store bought party trays. You can supplement them with additional items such as adding other veggies to a store bought veggie tray, add peppers and olives to a store bought cheese and cracker tray, etc…
  3. Add cute graduation-themed printables to cupcakes, water bottles, containers, favors and more!

  • Use photos for personalized decorations – there are numerous grand options from CVS
    1. Use photos of your grad in their cap and gown for invites & thank you notes
    2. Use photos on centerpieces
    3. Roll silverware to glance love diplomas
    4. Make banners and signs with pictures of the grad from each grade
    5. Set up a photo booth for your guests to use!
